In-App Support
You can also access support features directly within the Placepals app:
- Navigate to Settings → Help & Support
- Report users from their profile pages
- Access Privacy Policy and Terms of Service in Settings
- Delete your account through Settings → Account
Privacy Rights Requests
To exercise your privacy rights (data access, deletion, correction, portability), please email support@placepals.app with:
- Your full name and email address associated with your account
- A clear description of your request
- Any relevant details to help us locate your information
We will respond within 30 days and may require identity verification for security purposes.
Report Content or Users
If you encounter inappropriate content or user behavior:
- In-App: Use the Report button on any user profile (Friends tab → Profile → ••• menu)
- Email: support@placepals.app with details
- Categories: Harassment, Spam, Inappropriate Content, Impersonation, Violence, Self-harm, Other
All reports are reviewed within 24 hours.
